Advanced Conditional Navigation (Rules)

With Advanced Conditional Navigation (Rules) in LanderLab, you can direct each visitor to the most relevant page, question, or result based on their responses and selections.

Instead of creating multiple versions of the same funnel, you can build one dynamic flow that adjusts instantly. Using Rules allows you to:

  • Tailor the experience for every visitor
  • Display only the questions that are relevant
  • Transform simple quizzes into effective lead generation tools
  • Improve conversions by automatically guiding users to the right next step

Think of it as adding intelligent pathways within your funnel – so visitors only see what matters, while you capture better-quality leads with less effort.

This feature is available on Image Choice, Multiple Choice, all Button types, and Loader blocks.

Setup

Step 1: Configure Navigation

Choose the block where you want to apply Advanced Logic (e.g. Picture Choice, Multiple Choice, Button, or Loader).

In the Navigation, change the navigation type to Advanced conditional logic.

Once enabled, you’ll be able to view existing rules or create new ones.

Step 2: Create Rules

Define the conditions that control your logic flow. You can:

  • Select a block as your data source. Supported inputs include:
Image Choice, Multiple Choice, Input Field, Slider, Scale, Icon Rating, and Select blocks

💡 Tip: Use System Labels to quickly identify and organize your input blocks.

  • Choose or create a formula for your rule
  • Use phone-related conditions like OTP status or network validation

Depending on the block type, you can apply these operators:

  • contains any of
  • contains all of
  • contains none of
  • matches exactly
  • does not match exactly
  • is empty
  • is not empty

Next, define the value (from a list or custom input). If not required, you can leave it blank.

You can group conditions using the + icon, allowing more structured logic.

Within groups, combine conditions using:

  • AND – all conditions must be true
  • OR – at least one condition must be true

Then define the outcome when conditions are met:

  • Page – go to a specific page
  • Next Page – continue to the next step
  • URL – redirect to an external link

You can disable, duplicate, or delete rules from the menu options.

Add as many rules as needed, and use the back option to return to your overview where you can manage all rules.

Step 3: Set a Fallback Path

Define what happens if none of your rules match.
This ensures users are always guided somewhere instead of getting stuck.

Step 4: Test Your Setup

Preview your funnel to confirm everything works as expected.
You can also expand rules in the overview to quickly review their logic.

Common Use Cases

Advanced Conditional Navigation can be applied across many scenarios, especially for lead qualification and personalization:

  • Insurance: Recommend tailored plans based on age, family status, and coverage needs
  • Recruiting: Route candidates to the most relevant roles using multiple criteria
  • Real Estate: Display properties filtered by budget, location, and preferences
  • Financial Services: Guide users to suitable loans or investments based on profile data
  • Legal Services: Direct clients to the right consultation based on case type and urgency
  • Energy & Solar: Suggest optimal solutions using factors like home size, heating type, and budget

This approach helps you deliver more relevant experiences while improving lead quality and conversion rates.
