Email verification is a built-in feature of the standard Email Input Field, allowing you to easily toggle validation on or off without needing a separate block.
1. Open the Quiz Builder and Select the Field
- Navigate to the quiz step where you want to collect the email address.
- Select the Email Input Field (or add a new one if it doesn’t exist).
- The element settings panel will open on the left side of the editor.
2. Locate the Verification Setting
- In the input field’s settings panel, scroll down to the options or functionality section.
- Look for the setting labeled Email Verification
3. Enable or Disable Verification
- To enable verification: Click the enable button. When enabled, the system will perform validation checks on the user’s input.
- To disable verification: Click the disable button.
4. Save and Test
- Save and Republish your landing page.
- Test the flow by entering various email addresses (valid and poorly formatted) to ensure the validation is working as intended.
