LanderLab automatically saves versions of your quiz as you make changes, allowing you to preview past states and easily revert to a previous working version.
Steps to Access and Restore Quiz Version History
- Open the Quiz Editor: In the LanderLab page editor, click on the quiz element to open the dedicated Quiz Editor panel on the left side of the screen.
- Access Version History: Click the “Version History” button located near the bottom of the left-hand editor panel.
- Review Versions: A modal window will appear showing a list of saved quiz versions, each timestamped by date and time (e.g., “Oct 23, 2025 12:02 PM”).
- Preview a Version (Optional): To view what a previous version looked like, click the Preview (eye) icon next to the desired version’s timestamp. This opens a preview of the quiz step.
- Restore a Version: To revert your quiz to an earlier version, click the Restore (arrow) icon beside the version you wish to restore.
- Confirmation: A message will appear (e.g., “Quiz version restored successfully!”), and the quiz editor will update to the selected historical version.
- Save Changes: After restoring, click Save in the main editor to confirm your updates, then Publish the landing page to make the restored quiz live.
Note: Version History tracks changes to quiz content and structure only. Always save your work frequently to ensure all updates are captured.
