Text blocks let you add written content to your flow. They help you introduce steps, explain questions, or provide extra context. There are two types of text blocks:
- Headline → Use for titles, questions, or key messages. Headlines stand out visually and give structure to your flow.
- Text → Use for longer explanations, descriptions, or supporting details. Text blocks are styled for readability.
💡 Tip: Keep your headlines short and clear, and use text blocks only when needed – this keeps your flow clean and easy to follow.
Headline Block
The Headline Block lets you add a title or question to your step. By default, the first text you type will appear as an H1 heading.
After writing your headline, any additional text you add will automatically be styled as a paragraph. If needed, you can still select the text and change its style using the formatting toolbar.
With the toolbar, you can:
- Switch between headings (H1, H2, H3) and paragraph
- Apply bold, italic, or underline
- Change text color
- Add links
Headline Block – Appearance
Under Appearance, you can adjust how your headline looks and where it shows:
- Text Align → Align your text to the left, center, or right.
- Visibility → Choose whether the headline should appear on Desktop, Mobile, or both.
Headline Block – Spacing
Under Spacing, you can control the size and position of the headline:
- Size → Set how wide the block should be: Small (S), Medium (M), Large (L), or Full width.
- Margin → Add space around the block by adjusting top, bottom, left, and right margins in pixels.
Design Headlines
You can customize the look of your headlines in the Design tab.
To access it, either:
- Click the color palette icon in the left menu, or
- Open the block’s menu (three dots) and select Design.
In the Headlines section, you can adjust properties for Heading 1 through Heading 6.
Options include:
- Font Size → Set different sizes for desktop and mobile.
- Font Weight → Choose from light to bold styles.
- Color → Pick a custom text color or use your default.
- Line Height → Adjust spacing between lines for readability.
- Text Transform → Control casing (default, uppercase, lowercase, etc.).
Text Block
The Text Block works the same way as the Headline Block, but is meant for longer content. You can add descriptions, instructions, or supporting text, and format it using the same toolbar options.
Design – Text
Text styling works much like headlines, but there are a few things to keep in mind:
- You can edit default font size, weight, and color for all text.
- Changing the font size here can also affect other elements that use text – such as buttons, inputs, and multiple choice options.
- If you need different font sizes for these components, you’ll have to override them individually in their own design settings.
- Labels are styled separately from text, so you can adjust them without affecting the rest of your content.
