Replace Links

Contents

When you import a landing page via URL, the original source often contains dozens of outgoing links—some of which are hidden in small icons, footer text, or background elements. Manually tracking down every <a> tag is nearly impossible.

The Replace Links tool solves this by allowing you to redirect all outgoing traffic to your destination URL in one single action.

How to use it:

  1. Open the Actions Menu: In the Visual Editor, click the Actions button at the bottom right.
  2. Select Replace Links: This opens the configuration modal.
  3. Choose Your Replacement Method:
    • Replace all outgoing links: This is the most common setting. It replaces every link on the page with your new destination.
    • Replace only specific outgoing links: Use this if you want to keep certain links (like Social Media icons) but change the main CTA buttons.
    • Replace only outgoing links having these properties: Advanced filtering for specific link attributes.
  4. Enter your URL: Paste your tracking link or offer URL into the field provided.
  5. Apply: Click Replace Links to update the entire page instantly.

Why this is a “Must-Do” for URL Imports

  • Fixing “Ghost” Links: It’s common for imported pages to have links hidden in places you wouldn’t think to click during a visual edit. This tool ensures no traffic is “leaked” back to the original owner’s offers.
  • Time-Saving: Instead of opening the “Link” settings for ten different buttons and images, you can update them all in five seconds.
  • Consistency: It guarantees that every single interactive element on your page is aligned with your current campaign tracking.
