The Quiz Editor offers two editing modes: Interactive and Focus. Focus Mode disables navigation actions within the preview, allowing you to edit content and settings without accidentally progressing through quiz steps.
When to Use Focus Mode
- Edit content blocks (questions, buttons, or text) on the current quiz step without triggering quiz navigation.
- Prevent accidental navigation to the next or previous step when clicking quiz buttons in the preview area.
Steps to Activate Focus Mode
- Open the Quiz Editor: Click your Quiz element within the LanderLab page editor to open the Quiz Editor panel.
- Locate the Editing Experience Panel: In the bottom-right corner of the editor, find the panel labeled “Editing Experience.”
- Select Focus: Click the radio button next to “Focus.”
- Focus Mode Description: You’ll see a note — “Focus navigation in editor is disabled. Great for focused editing without accidental interruptions.”
Once Focus Mode is active, you can safely interact with elements on the current step — like clicking buttons or selecting multiple-choice answers — without advancing to the next step. This makes it ideal for editing content blocks, visual layouts, and styles without workflow disruptions.
