The Quiz Editor offers two modes for working on your quiz: Interactive and Focus. Interactive Mode enables navigation actions in the editor preview, allowing you to move through your quiz steps by clicking the buttons, just as a user would.
When to Use Interactive Mode
- Test the full quiz flow and logic by clicking through steps (e.g., clicking “Next” or selecting an answer).
- Quickly progress to a step further down the flow to preview its content or design.
- Experience the quiz exactly as your users will, ensuring smooth transitions and interactions.
Steps to Activate Interactive Mode
- Open the Quiz Editor: Click your Quiz element within the LanderLab page editor to open the Quiz Editor panel.
- Locate the Editing Experience Panel: In the bottom-right corner of the screen, find the section labeled “Editing Mode.”
- Select Interactive: Click the radio button next to “Interactive.” (This is the default setting.)
- Interactive Mode Description: You’ll see a note — “Interactive navigation actions work normally. Perfect for active workflow progression.”
When Interactive Mode is active, you can click buttons or select answers within the quiz preview to move between steps, following the flow you’ve designed. This mode is best for testing user experience and verifying quiz logic before publishing.
