Conversion tracking allows you to measure the effectiveness of your landing pages and marketing efforts by analyzing specific user actions.

Whether it is a specific button click, page visit, or form submission, Landerlab can track them all.

In this article, we’ll guide you through the process of setting up and utilizing conversion tracking to gain valuable insights into your campaigns

How to Track Visits as Conversions

Upon completing a specific action, visitors are often directed to a specific page, commonly referred to as the “Thank You” page. This signifies that when users land on this page, they have successfully fulfilled the conversion action, making their visits to this page valid to be marked as a conversion.

Follow the below steps to mark specific page visits as conversions.

  1. Go to Landing Pages
  2. Locate and click on the page you want to enable conversion tracking on.
  3. Go to the page Settings, then go to the Conversions tab.
  4. Enable Track Visits as Conversions, click Save and you’re done.

Some funnels may have multiple conversion steps, meaning that the visitor can generate more than one conversion during his funnel journey. In such situations, it is totally safe to mark multiple page visits as conversions.

How to Track Form Submits as Conversions

Form submissions represent a pivotal conversion event, allowing you to measure user engagement and interaction with your landing page.

Follow the below steps to mark specific page visits as conversions.

Before you begin: Enabling Track Form Submits as Conversions make sense only on pages that have a form in it. Make sure your landing page has a form in it before moving forward with the below configurations.

  1. Go to Landing Pages
  2. Locate and click on the page you want to enable conversion tracking on.
  3. Go to the page Settings, then go to the Conversions tab.
  4. Enable Track Form Submits as Conversions, click Save and you’re done.

If your landing page does not have a form or the visitor moves to a part of the funnel that shows intent towards the desired action, you can safely track “pre-conversion” link clicks as conversions to tell how effective your landing page is.

Follow the below steps to mark link clicks as conversions.

  1. Go to Landing Pages
  2. Locate and click on the page you want to enable conversion tracking on.
  3. Go to the page Settings, then go to the Conversions tab.
  4. Enable Track Link Clicks as Conversions, click Save and you’re done.

How to Track Button Clicks as Conversions

In case you would like to track specific button clicks as conversions, Landerlab allows you to do that easily.

Follow the below steps to mark specific button clicks as conversions.

  1. Go to Landing Pages
  2. Locate and click on the page you want to enable conversion tracking on.
  3. Go to the page Settings, then go to the Conversions tab.
  4. Enable Track Link Clicks as Conversions, click Save and you’re done.
