Zapier Integration

Zapier is a powerful automation tool that connects your favorite apps, to streamline your workflow. With Zapier, you can create automated workflows, known as “Zaps,” that allow data to flow seamlessly between different applications.

This guide will walk you through the steps of integrating Zapier with Landerlab landing pages, enabling you to automate tasks and save time.

Requirements

Before you begin, make sure you have the following:

– An active Landerlab account
– An active Zapier account
– A landing page that contains a lead collection form in it

  1. Go to Zapier and log in to your Zapier account.
  2. Click on Make a Zap in the top right corner to start creating a new Zap.
  3. In the Choose a Trigger App search bar, type Landerlab
  4. Select Landerlab 1.0.3 from the available options
  5. Choose a trigger event that will initiate the automation – select New Event
  6. Click the Connect an Account button to link your Landerlab account to Zapier.
You’ll need to enter the email address and password you use to access your Landerlab account to establish the connection.
  7. Once connected, Zapier will test the trigger to ensure it’s working correctly. If successful, you’ll see a confirmation message.

Tip: Before testing the connection, make sure to generate at least one test lead with your landing page to use that information for testing purposes in Zapier.
  8. After configuring the trigger, you need to choose an action app. This is the application where you want to send the lead data from Landerlab. Search and select the app you want to integrate with Landerlab.
  9. Select an action event for the chosen app. This event will determine what happens when the trigger is activated.
  10. Map the fields from Landerlab to the fields in the action app. This step ensures that data is correctly transferred between the two apps.
  11. After setting up the action event and mapping fields, you can test your Zap to verify that it’s functioning as expected. If everything works correctly, you’ll see a test successful message.
  12. Once you’ve tested and verified the Zap, you can turn it on.

From this point on, whenever a new lead is submitted to the selected Landerlab landing page, Zapier will automatically perform the specified action in the connected app.

Troubleshooting Zapier Integration

Sometimes, issues may arise when setting up Zapier integrations. Here are some common troubleshooting steps:

  1. Credentials: Make sure that you have correctly entered your Landerlab credentials. Double-check for typos or outdated passwords. If needed re-enter the current ones.
  2. Trigger Event Issues: Verify that the trigger event you selected in Landerlab is set up correctly and is triggering as expected.
  3. Action App Configuration: Ensure that the action app you’ve selected in Zapier is correctly configured and that the action event is set up properly.
  4. Monthly Tasks Limit: Check your monthly tasks limit under usage statistics and verify that you have not consumed them. If consumed upgrading your Zapier subscription to a higher plan may be needed.
  5. Zapier Status Page: Visit the Zapier Status Page to check if there are any known outages or issues with Zapier itself.
  6. Logs and Error Messages: Review the logs and error messages within Zapier to pinpoint the problem.

If you are unable to resolve the issue, you can reach out to Zapier’s customer support or consult their documentation for specific troubleshooting guidance.
